Fire Hut project
Strawberry Heights subdivision has a fire suppression system which is located on Margaret Drive. The picture above is from the EID website, a map of the 22 hydrantes in Strawberry. The system was built by the first homeowners some of which were your family in Strawberry. They knew the community needed a system to provide the first line of defense in the event of a fire. The fire hut (see photo below) project will repair and rebuild the structure, apply non-combustible roofing material, be uniform in appearance and easily identifiable. Average cost per hut is $200. We are in need of approximatly $3000 to complete this project this year. Additionally, we hope to be able to replace hoses or connections as necessary.
